Gabriella absolutely loves to watch the neighborhood dogs play in the park. Of course, Elmo is never too far behind.

Easy like Sunday Morning

Gabriella and I started our morning with a long walk and breakfast at a local cafe.

Then Michael joined us, and we spent the afternoon with her godmother and cousins, Jonathan and Adam.

The beginning of Spring in the Northeast is my absolute favorite time of year, and Sunday is my absolute favorite day ... so today was, well, sort of perfect.

My first laptop.

After weeks of unsuccessfully trying to get a hold of mine, Gabriella now has her very own laptop to play with courtesy of Nana.

I love this shot because it captures yet another rite of passage--Gabriella reaching for her crib mobile--as a newborn photo looms in the background.

I remember carefully picking out that mobile for my registry. Now it's time to take it down. Have nine months really come and gone that quickly?

9-month Checkup

Gabriella had her first needle and, as a result, her first Band-Aid today.

We also learned that our great eater isn't, well, eating quite enough. Bring on the pasta, eggs and avocado. We've got to fatten this girl up.

We're very lucky. She is an awesome traveler. Gabriella also loves the warm weather, just like her parents, and very much enjoyed sitting on Nana's patio every morning and evening, watching the birds.
