Look who's ready to ring in the New Year complete with a party hat and bells on (literally).

Merry Christmas from The Repuccis.

Bring it on, Santa!Enjoying a classic: the Farmer in the Dell.
Being arrested for continuously interrupting the big boys' game.
Peek-a-boo from inside Elmo's bunker.
Loading up the shopping cart.
Enjoying the poor man's Holiday Pops.
Shopping the party for more gifts.

The wonder of Christmas.

The most wonderful day of the year.

GFR @ 18 months

I just love this picture. Gabriella in pigtails, giving us a dissertation with a krinkled nose for emphasis, all while holding her father's clean laundry hostage. That's my little girl.

Let it snow!

For all intents and purposes, it's been snowing for 48 hours now.

With the exception of this one Sunday morning trip to Whole Foods to stock up on prepared comfort foods, we spent the weekend at home, in front of the fire, wrapping gifts, reading books, folding laundry, watching Sesame Street and dancing to old school holiday music.

Toddler-Proof Holiday Decorating

We decided to forego a Christmas tree this year, after visions of toddler antics danced in our heads. However, I think we pulled off a Gabriella-proof holiday decorating scheme that would make even Martha proud.

Winter's first snowfall.

Michael and I woke up this morning to Boston's first snowfall. So we brought Gabriella into our room, all piled into bed ....

... and watched the snow fall in Charlestown, MA.

My first pigtails!

It may not look like much, but these pigtails are nothing short of a miracle ... not to mention so stinkin' cute. Of course, they're a bit lopsided and didn't last long, but it's progress and I'm not giving up.

Gabriella meets Max

Gabriella met Max for the first time tonight. Then she proceeded to raid his room of all things giraffe-like. Max was a good sport. He let her have her way.

Black Friday

Well, we didn't go shopping today, but that didn't stop Gabriella from showing off her new winter hat.

Baby, it's cold outside.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Cardboard box + Blanket = Cure for Cabin Fever.

Me and my girl.

Here are a few snapshots from Saturday morning.

The end.

Deja Vu

Look at G rockin' her Smurfette tee next to the real thing.

The doll is almost 25 years old ... and still 100% in style.

Mommy's Little Girl

Gabriella's new favorite pastime is leafing through holiday catalogs.

So, here we were this morning, in our pajamas, one with a cup of apple cider and one with a bottle of milk, looking through catalogs while Daddy slept in. It was heaven.

P.S. When Daddy woke up, he took one look at this picture and said Gabriella looked like a sixty year old woman, hungover and about to light up a cigarette. I disagree. I think she looks
absolutely perfect.

My very first cell phone.

Here is Geoffers ... about to be cast aside for the new toy on the block (courtesy of Nana B. and Dubby).

Here is Gabriella ... thoroughly impressed by the working buttons on her very first cell phone.

Here is Geoffers ... looking as if he's been there, done that.

Happy Halloween

Halloween remains one of my all-time favorite days of the year as a mom. And don't let Gabriella's expression fool you. She loves it too ... I promise.

This year was even better because Michael joined us. We went to the Bunker Hill Monument for parades, balloons, bubbles, and the most beautifully decorated haunted houses. I just love this photo and plan to frame it.

G & P's first playdate

They laughed...

They cried (over sippy cups) ...

It was better than sesame breadsticks!

Aunt Tawa (aka Hannah)

Thanks to a business trip, I spent an evening in Atlanta with my nephew, who started off calling me Tawa and eventually just called me Hannah.
